What does a well-designed kosher kitchen look like?
When it comes to kosher kitchens, planning is everything. A well-designed kosher kitchen will have two overlapping triangles, one for meat and one for dairy. This ensures that the two areas are totally separate, preventing any cross-contamination.
Double sinks, double ovens, and in some cases, double dishwashers and refrigerators are also essential in a kosher kitchen. More often than not, you will need to have a large number of storage units to keep all of your food separate, and worktops will need a hard surface that is easy to clean and non-porous.
